Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Rep. to join our team. Under the direction of the Customer Service Supervisor, you will assist in coordinating daily orders and shipments. You must be extremely organized and able to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Customer Service
Assist CS Supervisor with the following:
- Switchboard – answer phones and greet visitors
- Office shipping/receiving/CODs
- Assist in additional projects as needed
Respond to customer service requests when necessary
Communicate with buyers and sales department to resolve any issues and or questions
Shipping and Receiving
Review and verify shipment orders
Coordinate driver routes and delivery loads
Track shipments and input data into the company system
Verify night production in Nav, batch and generate cover sheet report
Confirm pick up dates for Back Haul customers via email or phone
Verify trucks from the previous day were all shipped
Verify loads are picked up during the day and send emails at 3pm to those customers loads that have not picked up for status
Send orders to carriers to be scheduled for delivery
Assist in managing all trucking activities
Maintain and update invoices and customer files
Verify and maintain production logs
Qualifications
2-years experience in office administration
Associate’s Degree a plus
Working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Multi-tasking and contributing to various facets of the organization is expected
Proficiency in MS Excel and Word programs is required
Customer service focus and great organizational skills will be key to success
